Folk Festival 2025
The Ark is a local Ann Arbor nonprofit base for folk and roots music with extensive and quality programming. During the six months leading up to the Ark’s annual Folk Festival fundraiser, Q Ltd is tasked with rediscovering the look and feel as it relates to the local community and folk music.
For a second year I was asked to create the look and feel of The Ark’s annual Folk Festival in partnership with the staff at The Ark.
Project managed by Christine Golus. Motion graphic assistance by Andy Sikora.
This year’s design pays homage to the Ark’s 1960’s roots. Many original Ark posters had an organic rhythm, featuring wave patterns.
The bright colorful palette helps contrast the darker, earthy palette’s of the past few years, helping to bring vibrant life for the Ark’s 60th year.
